E3BT: Building Discipline On and Off the Court
At E3BT, we believe success on the court starts with discipline off the court. That’s why we emphasize the importance of staying on top of schoolwork, showing good conduct at school and home, and handling chores responsibly.
We remind our athletes that their attitude and work ethic outside the gym carry over to their performance as teammates and competitors. A player who completes assignments on time, respects teachers and parents, and takes care of responsibilities at home builds the habits needed to succeed in basketball—and in life.
Basketball teaches more than just how to dribble, shoot, and defend. It teaches commitment, accountability, and character. At E3BT, we want every athlete to understand that the way you prepare in the classroom and at home directly reflects how you compete on the court.
Because when grades, conduct, and responsibility are in order—great basketball follows.

WHAT WE TEACH
Elevate THREE Basketball Training, (E3BT) aims to help develop the most skilled athletes on and off the court to prepare them for college & life skills.
Leadership skills training is essential to better prepare young athletes to become the best version of themselves on and off the court. We have identified 52 leadership competencies that kids MUST learn to cope with challenges associated with the game of basketball as well as life.
Basketball is the perfect vehicle to help thread the messaging on leadership competences for athletes. Research shows that exposing kids to leadership skills helps instill confidence, problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, and collaboration with others.
WHAT TO EXPECT
One-On-One Player Development Meetings: All individual sessions are held in the E3BT Conference Room and are designed to empower athletes to take ownership of their basketball journey and personal growth.
Athlete-Led Conversation: Athletes are encouraged to lead the discussion, sharing their basketball goals, aspirations, and challenges. These conversations build confidence, accountability, and self-awareness, helping each athlete take an active role in their development.
Parent/Guardian Role: Parents and guardians are welcome & encouraged to attend as silent observers. These meetings are a space for athletes to speak for themselves and take full responsibility for their progress, both on and off the court.. The goal is for athletes to take FULL ownership of their basketball developmental journey and teach them to be responsible as well as hold them accountable for their actions.
Meeting Expectations: Athletes MUST bring a notepad and a pen to record goals, insights, and key takeaways. Sessions are limited to 15 minutes unless an extension is arranged in advance.
These meetings are a valuable part of developing leadership, responsibility, and the mindset needed for success in sport—and in life.

HOW WE TEACH
Leadership skills training is achieved by tying leadership competencies into academics, family values, faith, sportsmanship, what coaches want, the role of parents, and life skills.
Our Skill Specialists will lead the conversation on leadership in each session for reinforcement and skill retention each week..
Skill mastery is achieved by encouraging parents, grandparents & guardians to follow up the conversation with their athletes at home for reinforcement and accountability.
Research shows that exposing kids to leadership skills helps instill confidence, problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, and collaboration with others.
