E3BT Shooting Academy

The shooting camp teaches sound traits and techniques required to become a consistent and better shooter whether you’re shooting off the dribble, catching and shooting, or free throws. E3BT Skill Specialists will improve your shooting form, shooting release, and follow-through. The exclusive focus on shooting will quickly improve confidence. This Academy is limited to 12 athletes.

What’s Covered:

  • Build & Develop a shooter’s mindset.
  • ​​Increase Shooting Accuracy Off the Catch, dribble, screens and spots and in transition
  • ​​​Improve The Speed of Your Shot Preparation and Release
  • Video breakdown of athlete’s shot
  • Footwork breakdown that improves shooting accuracy
  • Learn how to work on shooting on your own time- provided drills and accountability

When: Saturday, October 5th, 2024: 8 am-9:30 am, 9:30 am-11am
Sunday, October 6th, 2024: 9:30 am – 11:00 am, 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
Ideal For: Boys and girls, all age groups
Limit: 6 athletes/session (2 athletes per hoop)

E3BT Point Guard Master Camp

 

A dedicated camp for skill development. Great for athletes who want to work on advancing their skills with a fun and challenging format. Training is innovative and will push athletes outside their comfort zone where we can guarantee maximum touches and hands on instruction. Limited to 20 athletes.

E3BT Lockdown Defensive Camp

This dedicated defensive academy is designed to help athletes develop into a defensive machine that forces offensive players must worry about.

This camp develops traits and techniques to become consistently a better defender whether you’re guarding on ball or off the ball. Players will learn the secrets to becoming an aggressive on and off the ball defender as well as learning to play in the gaps of the offense.

AUGUST – 2024

Middle School Skill Development Camp

 

Targeted to middle school athletes to teach and educate them on how to pass, cut, finish, and use picks to contribute to any offense! Athletes will learn that THE GAME IS NOT ALWAYS ABOUT SHOOTING AND SCORING. It’s also about moving without the ball. Having a better game IQ will pay dividends as they are exposed to different teams and offenses. This clinic will cover instruction that includes:

Pick & Roll: We’ll provide film breakdown analysis to learn how to execute certain picks and reads and make decisions on the basketball floor. In addition to hands-on work that covers:

  • create separation between themselves and the on-ball defender.
  • explosion techniques and proper angles towards the position of the screen.
  • screen and make contact when setting the screen.
  • read the defense and use the screen.
Movement: Understand that after you pass the ball, you can move and continue to be a scoring threat and help your team get a good shot. Athletes learn the critical components of basketball IQ required to become a great offensive player from an individual and team aspect.

AUGUST – Playmaker’s Academy – High School Players

Athletes learn the critical components of basketball IQ required to become a great offensive player from an individual and team aspect. This academy will aim to train the mind of players to make faster decisions within the practice environment.

What’s Covered:

  • Film breakdown: video breakdown analysis to learn how to execute certain skills and make decisions on the basketball floor
  • Pick and roll scenarios
  • Improve the ability to think and act in decisive ways
  • Develop a confident attacking mindset
  • Pass against pressure, how to read the defense and find the open player

When: August 12th – 15th, 9 am – 12 pm
Ideal For: Boys and girls, between grades 8-12. This is NOT for beginners. This is for intermediate to advanced guards, wing, or post players looking to be placed in a high-intensity environment with competitive drills. Athletes that already possess foundational skills and are looking to take their game to the next level.

ANATOMY OF SHOOTING – Only 6 players/session

Is your athlete struggling with shooting the ball? If your athlete is in 6th Grade or higher, we invite them to join us for a shooting camp that will transform them into the confident modern day shooter they aspire to become.

What To Expect

Athletes can expect to learn how to optimize their shooting form using the I’M Possible “SB Shooting Basketball” to develop a quick and smooth release.

  • Pick up point, Shot Path, Hand Placement, Release Point, Med-ball Shooting, Stationary Shooting, Backboard Shooting, Foot Replacement, Squat Shooting, Bosu-Ball Balancing Shooting, Split Jump Shots, Shooting With Arc

Feedback delivery is done using instant feedback monitors to increase visual learning and self-assessment.

Develop the technique and shooter’s mindset needed to be your team’s go to shot maker.
Every athlete will be provided with video analysis of their shot and the academy will also feature guest speakers and special contests with awards.
